General: The apartment is a short drive from the sandy beaches of Fuengirola and Mijas Costa, and is also centrally located for easy access to other local attractions including the Mijas Aqua Park, the cable cars at Benalmadena and also Puerto Banus, famous for it's marina, designer shops and trendy nightlife. Local taxis or car hire is recommended if you want to travel around the local area.

Language: The local people are extremely friendly and speak excellent English, but native tongue is Spanish.

Shopping: The apartment is within walking distance of a local restaurant, bar and shop which will provide all your essential needs. The larger supermarkets, shops and amenities that you would expect in a large town can be found a short drive away in Fuengirola. If your tastes are more exclusive, designer shops abound in Marbella and Puerto Banus, both of which are 20km away.


Local Travel: Local taxis are available if you don't want to drive, but if you do want to travel further afield, there are plenty of car hire companies to choose from. We can recommend DoYouSpain or Malaga Car who both seem reasonably priced.
